As they operate in the globally-unlicensed 2.4 GHz frequency band there is no worrying about whether or not your system will work at a particular location. They have a working range of 30 to 60 metres and up to 4 system can be run simultaneously in a typical setting (up to 8 maximum under ideal conditions).
